About - Let me introduce myself...
Hello, I'm Georgia
Allow me to introduce myself!
I love being a therapist first and foremost. Outside of my therapy work I'm someone who enjoys trying new foods, spending time with my dogs, exploring what Leeds has to offer, socialising but also enjoy spending time in my own company and reconnecting with peaceful moments.
As an integrative and relational Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic models and practices to best support you and the individual needs you bring to our sessions. I currently work with adults and young people aged 16+ and I am registered with the BACP.
Making the decision to go to therapy is the first step and I understand that reaching out can feel like an overwhelming task. It is important that you find someone who you feel comfortable with, which is why I dedicate time in our early sessions to building a relationship with you that feels safe, trusting and supportive.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can have a conversation about what your therapy could look like and whether we would be a good fit. There is never any obligation, expectation or pressure to continue sessions if you are not comfortable. Your goals and hopes for change will guide the work we do together.
There is no single way to approach therapy. Some clients choose to have regular weekly contact with me, working on specific topics, whilst others choose to spread out sessions and discuss what is presenting for them in that moment. It is your story, I'm here to help give you the tools to write it.
I am committed to making therapy more accessible for minority communities and I work with cultural awareness and sensitivity at the heart of my practice.
Alongside my formal qualifications and education, I also have several years’ experience working with secondary age young people as a mentor, pastoral carer and behaviour support worker. I have also supported child victims of exploitation and trafficking. These roles have shaped my trauma‑informed, compassionate approach and gives me an appreciation for how early experiences can impact emotional wellbeing.
I strive to create an environment where you can feel safe to explore, heal and reconnect with yourself, without fear of judgement or critique. As my client, you will remain at the centre of our work together. Whether you’re navigating everyday worries, relationship difficulties or deeper distress and trauma, I will walk alongside you with care and curiosity.
I am available for in-person sessions in Leeds City Centre, or via online or telephone sessions.
By making it this far you've already made a huge step forward in your journey, so let's keep that momentum going and have a chat!
